As a leading distributor and platform, we coordinate a powerful buying alliance (the “Network”) to secure inventory from top-tier white goods brands, including but not limited to GE, LG, Whirlpool, and Electrolux.

A4L.com serves as a digital catalog and connection point between customers and participating independent local stores.

  • Platform Only: This website is a tool to view local inventory.
  • Independent Entities: All transactions are legal agreements between the user and the specific independent store location.
  • Final Authority: Any discrepancies between the website content and the physical store will be resolved based on the real-world situation and final explanation provided by the individual store.

3. Products, Descriptions, and “As-Is” Status

A4L.com and its affiliated stores specialize in non-new (off-grade) merchandise. By using this site, the customer acknowledges that products are sold in the following conditions:

  • Scratch & Dent: Items with cosmetic imperfections (scratches, chips, or dents) that do not affect the mechanical functionality of the unit.
  • Open-Box & AS-IS: Items that may have been removed from original packaging, floor models, or discontinued stock.
  • Returns & Pre-owned: This includes items such as “48-Hour Retailer Returns” (e.g., from major retailers like Home Depot). These units may have been briefly installed or used by a previous customer and may show signs of light use or installation marks.

Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, all descriptions, condition grades, and images are for reference only.

Variations: Because each unit is unique, the actual item in-store may have minor variations from the photos or descriptions provided online.

Right to Correct: Stores reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors at the point of sale.

We encourage customers to review our Condition Grade Guide before purchasing, to better understand how product grades reflect cosmetic status.

Appliances4Less make no warranties, express or implied, beyond those offered by the selling store or manufacturer.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Store-Specific Pricing: Prices are set by individual stores and are subject to change without notice.
  • Taxes: Sales tax is calculated based on the location of the fulfilling store and the delivery address.
  • Payments: Online payments are processed via WooCommerce for the benefit of the fulfilling store. In-store payment methods may vary; please contact the specific location for details.

5. Order Acceptance and Fulfillment

An order placement on A4L.com does not constitute a final contract until the individual store accepts the order. Stores reserve the right to cancel orders due to:

  • Inventory stock-outs (as local walk-in customers may purchase items simultaneously).
  • Pricing errors or technical glitches.
  • Inability to deliver to your specific area.

6. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss

All shipping and delivery logistics are managed by the individual store or their chosen third-party carriers.

  • A4L.com does not manage, guarantee, or oversee delivery performance.
  • Any claims regarding delivery delays, property damage during installation, or shipping errors must be directed to the selling store.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Warranties

There is no brand-wide return or warranty policy. All transactions are final.

  • No Returns Policy: All products are sold “as-is” and are non-returnable once the sale is completed. Customers are encouraged to inspect items thoroughly at the individual store prior to purchase.
  • Functional Issues: In the event of mechanical or functional defects after purchase, all functional issues will be handled exclusively by the applicable warranty provider (third-party warranty company or manufacturer).
  • Individual Store Authority: You must confirm the specific coverage details and the designated warranty provider with the individual store from which you are purchasing.
  • No Central Liability: A4L.com does not process returns, issue refunds, or provide direct warranty repairs. Our platform acts only as a distributor and directory; all after-sales service and “final explanation” of the condition reside with the local store.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website owners, distributors, and administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase.

  • The Distributor acts only as a brand administrator and platform provider, not a retail operator.
  • Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product paid to the independent store.

All content, including text, logos, and “A4L” branding, is the property of the brand owners or licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright laws.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

National Compliance: This website is intended for use throughout the United States. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding online commerce and appliance purchases.

General Usage: These Terms and your use of this website are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the individual fulfilling store is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Store Transactions: Because each store is independently owned and operated, any disputes, claims, or litigation related to a product purchase, delivery, or service must be handled according to the laws and jurisdiction of the specific state where that individual store is physically located.

11. User Accounts

If you create an account on A4L.com, you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your credentials and ensuring that your account information is accurate.
